It's been a long time since I collected shells at the beach. Instead I'm making a rainbow of fish and shells using the Beachcomber Shells and Fun Fish from Simon Says Stamp's Shine On Release. The result is a Bright Beachy Summer Card againtst the finely textured Dotty Corner embossed background. My inspiration here was imagining a small cottage tucked away in a forest, so I choose the new Leafy Stencil and paired it with this darling Cottagecore Stamp Set from Simon Says Stamp's Shine On Release to create a sweet storybook scene. The stenciling is done with Tim Holtz Texture Paste to create dimension and given a dreamy glow with some ink-blending to set the stage for the die-cuts that are layered on top to make our memorable Cottagecore Missing You Card.
