Welcome to Day 2 of Simon Says Stamp's Shine On Release Blog Hop! We're taking a virtual trip in the craft room to the Caribbean where I grew up, for today's make. The Pawsitively Saturated Inks are getting a workout today to color our beautiful Flourish Hummingbird and Leafdance Flowers and Frame die-cuts. Stick with me for all the details of this simple card so you can take your own tropical trip from your craft space.

It's been a long time since I collected shells at the beach. Instead I'm making a rainbow of fish and shells using the Beachcomber Shells and Fun Fish from Simon Says Stamp's Shine On Release. The result is a Bright Beachy Summer Card againtst the finely textured Dotty Corner embossed background. Join me at the beach today and let's walk through some highlights of making this card focused mainly on vibrant ink-blending.

My inspiration here was imagining a small cottage tucked away in a forest, so I choose the new Leafy Stencil and paired it with this darling Cottagecore Stamp Set from Simon Says Stamp's Shine On Release to create a sweet storybook scene. The stenciling is done with Tim Holtz Texture Paste to create dimension and given a dreamy glow with some ink-blending to set the stage for the die-cuts that are layered on top to make our memorable Cottagecore Missing You Card.

Today, I'm choosing some of my favorite blues and greens to do some bold paper-piecing with the Tall Happy Cover from Simon Says Stamp's Shine On Release. This card is all about the color and with the help of a bold die like this one, you can quickly have a fresh and fabulous Cover Plate Summer Statement card for your Seasonal crafting!

You don't need a lot of skill or time to color these cuties from the Balloon Critters Stamp Set included in Simon Says Stamp's Shine On Release. Adding a little texture in the background our scene and pairing it with simple spotlight inking, you will have an adorable Balloon Critters Birthday Card in no time.

Do you make time for "Just Because" cards? They don't necessarily celebrate a specific occasion, but can just add a little sunshine, smile or chuckle to someone's day. I focused on smiles today so I chose the Quirky Daisy die set from Simon Says Stamp's Shine On Release for my Quirky Daisy Greeting Card. The colors evoke a sunny Summer day where a few blooms are attracting our BEAUTIFUL FLOURISH BUTTERFLY.

Okay, maybe I am the Hot Mess, but I definitely have Hot Mess friends would would get a kick out of these cheerfully sassy gift tags the next time we're celebrating or just cheering each other on. Cathy Zielske makes us all smile with relatable and on trend designs and I've been wanting to get my hands on this adorable set included in Simon Says Stamp's Shine On Release. Our layout is simple, vibrant and doesn't take itself to seriously, maybe a bit like me.

All beachy colors are not blue, at least not in my rainbow. Today we are coloring a sunset of waves using pastel inks and the Beach Bird's Eye Cover Plate from Simon Says Stamp's Shine On Release. This fun sentiment captures the mood perfectly and is included in the Chill Vibes stamp set.

Welcome to Day 1 of Simon Says Stamp's Shine On Release Blog Hop! The moment I saw the Dewdrop Daisy die set, I immediately pictured red Gerbera daisies and this pop of color seemed perfect for letting someone know how amazing they are. The Circle Frame dies are the quiet star here for me though. This nesting die set allowed me to cluster and frame the daisies, bring all your attention to our gorgeous blooms.

Acrylic Markers are my latest crush and though I could have colored the whole card with them, I had my eye on my new purple ink cubes from Simon Says Stamp's Always There Release. Coloring embossed designs has become as familiar as stamping and coloring these days and there are so many ways to do it, but today I have a matching stencil for the Blooming Beauties Embossing Folder to help me make a floral faith card.

Okay, this card, even with its somber tone is kid of a happy accident. It's actually the first of two cards that I made with the Wild and Free Stamp Set from Simon Says Stamp's Always There Release. I totally forgot it had a coordinating stencil set, so I colored it with alcohol-based markers using these sweet colors to make a floral sympathy card. I'll share the ink-pad colors you should use to make this with the stencil though, because that is soooo much easier!

I wish we only need cards for the happiest moments, but showing we card may be most needed during the tough times. Today uses the With Sympathy Stamp Set from Simon Says Stamp's Always There Release offer comfort to the people you care about when they are coping with life's lows.
