🎨 The Snowman Crew: Minimal Copic Coloring with Big Personality

PROJECT PALETTE
When crafting a multi-character card, you don't need to spend hours meticulously blending every inch. In fact, keeping the Copic coloring minimal keeps the characters crisp, storybook-like, and fast to assemble!
Crisp Snowman Bodies: Instead of heavy grays, run a subtle touch of cool pale blue (like Copic B0000 or B00) along the bottom curved edges of each snowball to suggest realistic shadow, leaving the center paper-white.
Classic Coal Top Hats: A simple flick of cool charcoal and soft black gives the hats instant depth without burying the sketchy, vintage stamped outlines.
Rainbow Rainbow Accents: To give each snowman their own sweet personality, color their hat bands, festive scarves, and dangling hearts in a vibrant rainbow sequence—ruby red, plum violet, icy turquoise, apple green, and tangerine orange.
Carrot Noses: A quick stroke of warm pumpkin orange brings every tiny carrot nose into focus!
The Game-Changing Dies: Instead of navigating tricky interior loops and delicate twig fingers with detail scissors, running the stamped snowmen through your die-cutting machine with the Simon Says Stamp exclusive coordinating dies gives you perfect, uniform white borders every single time!
CARD HIGHLIGHTS
❄️ The Backdrop: Stenciled Texture Paste Meets Inky Winter Skies
The secret to making clean, white die-cuts pop off the page is all about contrasting them with a dramatic, tactile background!
1. Inking the Icy Atmosphere
Start with smooth cardstock and blend a mix of blue and cool gray Distress Spritz and ink shades.
Swirling soft fog grays with punchy icy blues creates that chilly, overcast sky just before a fresh winter snowstorm rolls in.
2. Stenciling Raised Texture Paste
Once the inky foundation is down, layer a diamond-star pattern stencil over the panel and spread a generous layer of Distress Texture Paste (Twinkle) through the openings with a palette knife:
The paste traps the underlying blue ink along its edges while catching the light with built-in glitter specks.
The combination of dimensional star motifs and subtle, translucent texture mimics frosted window panes and falling snowflakes.
3. Fresh Snowy Drifts & Sugar Glitter
To ground our snowmen, build dimensional snowbanks along the bottom edge:
Apply dimensional grit paste or texture paste across the base of the scene to form soft snowdrifts.
While wet, dust the paste with chunky clear rock candy glitter. Once dry, the bottom of the card looks like freshly fallen, sparkling crust snow!

🌈 Finishing Touches: Bold Holiday Greetings
To tie the colorful snowman accessories together, mount a lively focal sentiment right into the frosty sky:
The Sentiment: A bold "MAKING SPIRITS BRIGHT" sentiment die-cut, featuring stacked letters with "BRIGHT" inlaid or layered in rainbow hues, matches each snowman's scarf and heart perfectly!
Framing & Polish: Mount the textured panel onto a rustic kraft card base to provide a warm, organic border against the chilly blue sky.
