PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS
How to Join the Foxy Birthday Party
1. The Textured Backdrop
Everything starts with that striking, rich purple panel. I ran it through with the Fable Friendly Foxes Embossing Folderto create a gorgeous tactile backdrop. The alternating sitting and dancing fox impressions catch the light beautifully without overwhelming the main scene.
2. Bringing the Foxy Crew to Life
Using alcohol-marker-friendly ink, I stamped our trio of foxes along with the autumn mushroom cluster. The real magic happens with the Copic marker shading—mixing warm auburns, forest greens, and deep crimson reds to give that rich, heavy-ink saturation.
3. Layering & Sentiments
After die-cutting all elements with the matching Foxy Friends Wafer Dies, I popped up the bottom foliage and mushrooms to anchor the card. The foxes were layered using foam adhesive for extra pop. Finally, I glued down the bright, sunny-yellow "CELEBRATE" die-cut sentiment alongside the stamped "Another year older, still foxy as ever" greeting.
