Welcome to Day 2 of Simon Says Stamp's Heart To Heart Blog Hop! Today, we'll a pair of Galentine heart shaker cards, one with a double "window" for twice the shake with the new STITCHED ROUNDED HEARTS and GALENTINE Dies and the SASSY SALLY Stamp Set.

3 Ways to Upgrade Your Shaker Card

Use a die with special details like stitching of other patterns that will show around or on the interior of the opening to add an extra special touch!
Add some texture to the background of the window with colored cardstock, an dry embossed design or stamped pattern as we will do with today's card.
Why do just one shaker window when you can layer and create, new interesting shakes and places for the "shakety bits" to shimmer through?

SASSY SALLY GALENTINE SHAKER CARDS - Die-Cutting, Copic Coloring, and Stamping

Pawstively Saturated Ink Pad - Salmon or Blush

Cardstock - Altenew Coral Berry and Simon Says Stamp Lipstick Red

PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS

Heart Window: Die-cut 4" x 5 1/4" Coral Berry and Lipstick Red cardf ronts with the Rounded Heart Dies. Use the smallest Rounded Heart to die-cut a scrap of Neenah Solar White 110lb Cardstock and the Coral Berry Cardstock. Adhere Clear Acetate to the back of the heart window opening and "frame" the opening with Foam Tape.
Card Background: Stamp 3 3/4" x 5" Neenah Solar White 110lb Cardstock in Pawsitively Saturated Salmon or Blush Ink Pads using a random selection of the Lots of Hearts stamps. Adhere to the card base with Craft Glue. Place a little puddle of sequins on top before adhering the shaker window card front over it.
Stamp, Color and Die-cut the Images and Sentiments: Refer to the card picture above and color the stamped Sassy Sally felines and their accessories with alcohol markers and die-cut. Adhere around the window opening with Craft Glue. Embellish with more sequins. Stamp and die-cut the sassy sentiments.
Sentiment: Die-cut layer and adhere the Galentines sentiment with Craft Glue out of the cardstock matching the card front.

UP CLOSE AND CRAFTY
