Simon Says Stamp - Always There Release Blog Hop, Day 2

Blog hop exclusive promo for a free Simon Says Stamp Hot Mess 3x4 stamp set, with colorful background and product packaging

Hi Lovelies!

Welcome to Day 2 of Simon Says Stamp's Always There Blog Hop! Embossing folders are already crafting magic, and when they are paired with coordinating layering stencils for coloring, it get's even easier to make something delightful! All that's needed to complete this comforting card is a sweet sentiment to share how much you care and some very special embellishments that add a little sparkle and dimension.

GORGEOUS HYDRANGEAS COMFORTING CARD - Embossing, Stenciling, Die-cutting, Stamping and Splattering

Pink and purple hydrangea card with green leaves on blue background; text says Everything will be just fine.
So glad that the layering stencils make it easy to color our Gorgeous Hydrangeas!

COLOR PALETTE

Simon Says Stamp Pawsitively Saturated Ink Pads - Bubblegum, Carnation, Sweets, Fairy

Eight colorful Simon Says Stamp ink cubes on a display card, labeled Bubblegum, Carnation, Sweets, Fairy, Field, Kale, Seafoam, Marine.

PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS

Die-cutting, Embossing and Stenciling the Hydrangea Blooms Layer - Die-cut the Hydrangea blooms shape out of white cardstock. Emboss the shape using the Gorgeous Blooms folder. Place the embossed hydrangea die-cut on a Sticky Grid mat to hold it in pace as you apply layers of the selected colors to the flowers using a Small Blending Brush or Round Detail Blending Brush.

Embossing, Stenciling, and Ink-blending the Hydrangea Leaves and Background Layer - use Small and Detail Blending Brushes to ink-blend the various colors onto the leaves and the background. Ink-blend a little Bubblegum and Fairy Ink around the perimeter of the flowers to creat a pretty pink/purple glowing effect.

Pastel hydrangea painting with pink, lavender, and white blooms on a blue-green background, shown on graph paper.

UP CLOSE AND CRAFTY

Close-up of a handmade pink and purple floral card with shiny sequins on a blue background, soft and whimsical mood
I almost wish I added more of the Dreamy Blossom Embellishments, but the inked blooms are also so pretty on their own.

Handmade floral card with pink hydrangeas, green leaves, and layered stickers reading Everything Will Be Just Fine.
A comforting word goes a long way.
