Hello Lovelies! There is so much to love in Tim Holtz and Stampers Anonymous Christmas 2024 Release, but I was looked in on Forest Floor 2 the moment I saw it. The gorgeous foliage illustrations had immediate appeal for me! I've always wished that I could draw, though that's not my talent, I can stamp. LOL
Today, I paired the art work from the Forest Floor 2 stamp set with the sentiments from the Home for Christmas set.
Let's take a closer look at both of the sets needed for today's card. You can purchase them individually or get the whole bundle from Simon Says Stamp.

PROJECT STEPS
Secure a 4" x 5 1/2" piece of Distress Watercolor Cardstock inside your Stamping Tool (like a MISTI).
Position your image stamps as shown on the card and adhere to the "tool lid".
Use Distress Ink Cubes or a mostly dry paintbrush to add color to the stamp - start with the lightest color and add darker tones to create depth and highlight details/shadows.
Mist the inked stamp twice with water and then stamp colors in layers from light to dark. Repeat inking of stamp until you achieve the depth of color that you prefer.
Stamp the sentiment in Black Soot Distress Archival Ink.
Heat set your stamping.
Dust the top half of your stamped card front with anti-static powder.
Ink the image with Distress Embossing Ink, sprinkle with Ranger Clear Embossing Powder and melt the powder with a heat tool to emboss.
Using a Splatter Bruch, splatter the card front with Picket Fence Distress Paint inside of a Splat Box and allow to dry.
Tie the twine around the card front and adhere to a Kraft Heavy Stock 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" card base with foam tape.
FEELING OF CHRISTMAS CARD
You can also use water-based markers on the stamp to create this look!
The paint splatter is intended to mimic snow. :-)
The embossing creates an elegant watermark effect.
I love that this card is relatively easy to do, but has a polished look when completed!
JOY TO THE WORLD CARD
These red berries give me all the best Christmas feels!
The ghostly holly sprig kicks this card up a notch.
These typewriter font sentiments are a favorite of mine.
All done and ready for an envelope!
