Hello Lovelies! I hope this is a sign of the fun in store for the YouTube LIVE for the Tim Holtz Sizzix 2023 Christmas Release! This is a low-effort, high-impact card to get us started with some festive fun!
We are mixing cool and warm, earthy tones to step outside the traditional Christmas Holiday colors, but everything else is pretty traditional on our "sweater weather" card!

You may have a hard time choosing your favorites from the Tim Holtz Sizzix 2023 Christmas Release., I am starting with the Holiday Knit Texture Fades Folder and the Big Tidings dies as I believe they are great "staples" that you can do so much more with! The full release is shown below and available as a bundle, but each die set is also available to purchase individually from Simon Says Stamp.
Let's take a closer look:

In addition, I pulled out the Christmas Clippings book from my stash as as I was determined not to stamp on this card. :-)

Today's GIF!
In spite of the fact that I grew up in the Caribbean, I'm also VERY fond of sweaters! LOL

PROJECT WALKTHROUGH
Emboss a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" piece of White Neenah 110lb cardstock using the Holiday Knit Folder and trim to 4" x 5 1/4"
Use a Mini Blending Tool to ink-blend color across the rows of patterns on the embossed card-front in the following order: Hickory Smoke, Pumice Stone, Brushed Corduroy, Peacock Feathers, Prize Ribbon
Using the "Joy" die from the Big Tidings die set, die-cut the word out of the center of the embossed card-front. Die-cut "Joy" a second time out of another piece of white cardstock. Note: the die creates two die-cuts, an outline and a solid word
Adhere the embossed card-front to a white card base. Fit the white outline inside the "Joy opening" and adhere using craft glue
Pop-up the embossed Joy die-cut with skinny strips of foam tape and adhere in the open space on the card-front
Select your preferred stickers from the Christmas Clippings Sticker Book, adhere to white strips of cardstock and then pop-up using foam tape before adhering to the card-front to finish
I think I need to use this color combo again! I'm a little in love with it!

The dimension really helps the Joy to stand out against the Nordic pattern and all that color!

The Clippings Sticker Book allows you to mix and match the sentiments/greetings that you like the most, so swap these out if something else strikes your fancy!

Pretty easy and fun to make, so I hope you will give it a try.

Thank you for stopping by and joining me for a little "sweater weather" fun! Leave me a comment with your thoughts please. It means a lot and I am happy to take any questions.
See you soon!
