PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS
🍋 The Focal Point: Crisp Citrus & Layered Stenciling
The centerpiece of this card features the leafy lemon branch from the Simon Says Stamp Squeeze You stamp, stencil, and die set.
How to Create the Lemons:
Stamp: Crisp black ink was used to outline the main branch, lemons, blossoms, and the cute little slice.
Stencil & Blend: Using the coordinating Squeeze You layering stencils, color was blended directly into the stamped outlines. Layering stencils make adding soft highlights, rich shadows, and deep green gradients to the leaves completely foolproof!
Die Cut: Once fully colored, everything was die-cut with the matching dies for clean, professional borders.

💙 The Background: Faux Italian Tile with Prize Ribbon Distress Ink
To give the card a summery, Amalfi Coast vibe, the background was crafted using the Bedazzled 3D Embossing Folder.
The Technique: After running white cardstock through the die-cutting machine with the folder, Prize Ribbon Distress Ink was gently swiped across the raised details of the embossed panel.
The Result: The ink catches only the high points, mimicking gorgeous hand-painted ceramic tile.
The panel was framed against a warm kraft card base to anchor all the vibrant blues and yellows.

✨ Finishing Touches & Sentiment
To pull everything together:
The lemon branch was mounted on top with dimensional foam adhesive so it pops right off the background.
The sentiment reading "can't wait to squeeze you!" was stamped in crisp cobalt blue and die-cut before being tucked right under a juicy lemon slice.
A few sparkling Pawsitively Dazzling Sunbeam gems were added across the tile background and center to catch the light.
