Hi Lovelies!
Hello Lovelies! I've had this hanging in the Craft Room for a few weeks now and just getting a chance to share it with you.
This swirl of Fall color was made with the pretty ___ Stencil and I wanted to show the full design, so I decided to use it in this season's shadowbox. I like being able to easily change up the artwork on display in the craft room and these shadow boxes make it easy!

We will further accent the stencil with some coordinating Fall themed die-cuts; let's take a look at the key supplies.
For the full list, check out the Supplies Section at the end of this post.
Today's GIF!
This is me, deciding what items to use on a project. LOL

DIE-CUTTING & INKING
Mushrooms
Die-cut the Tall Mushrooms out of white cardstock
Ink caps with:
Lemonade, Sunbeam
Spring, Dublin
Woodsy, Fawn
Ink stems lightly with:
Fawn
Create the Base
Trim a piece of Brown Cardstock to 6" x 6"
Die-cut white cardstock 4 times using the Wood Plank Die
Ink the planks with Flannel, Cappuccino and Mocha Inks to create a "wood effect"
Adhere the planks with Craft Glue to the brown cardstock base and trim the excess

Reinforce the Stenciled Layer
Adhere the stenciled layer to a piece of chipboard of the same size
Pop-up with foam tape as shown below
Create the Sentiment
Die-cut the outline layer of the Happy Autumn sentiment using the Lemon Glitter Cardstock
Die-cut the word layer of the Happy Autumn sentiment using the Bronze Glitter Cardstock
Adhere the layers using Craft Glue
Apply more glue and some Foam Tape to the back as shown
Decorate the Stenciled Layer
Adhere the mushrooms and the sentiment as shown

CREATING THE INSERT BASE
Using the Tim Holtz Guillotine, trim 2 pieces of Chipboard to 8" x 8". Trim 1 sheet of 130lb White Cardstock to 8" x 8".
Adhere the white cardstock to the 8" x 8" chipboard using the Elmer's Spray Adhesive or Craft Tacky Glue
NOTE: If you did this project with me before and plan to switch out a previous insert for this one, you do not need to create the 8" x 8" white backdrop again out of 130lb white cardstock. The inserts are attached to the backdrop with Velcro, so you just pop the previous one off and attach the new one.
Attach some Velcro to the back of this layer and attach to the 8" x 8" Base layer and place in the Shadow Box Frame.

Tip: I would use at least 2 at each of the four corners to ensure that it stays in place when mounted.
The Chipboard backing and velcro under the stenciled layer helps it "float above" the 8"x 8" layer.

Don't forget to leave me a comment and let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks again for stopping by and I hope to see you again soon Lovelies!
