Hello Lovelies! When you are looking to make a quick card, a cover plate die is always a sure bet. So of course I was happy to see the Super Sunflower Plate in the Just a Note release!
Of course I could have colored the die-cut with inks or markers, but my Color Blend Cardstock Assortment has been burning a hole in crafting stash, so I took the easy way out...LOL
I paired both of these cards 3 of the Embossing Folders from the relase to spice up the plain white cardstock background. If you are trying to build a stash of cards, this is a good option!

SUPER SUNFLOWER CARDS - Dry Embossing, Stamping and Die-cutting
Card Base: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2
Embossed / Die-cut Layers: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2
COLOR PALETTE
Cardstock choices: Color Blend Assortment
CARD GUIDE
Die-cut 3 pieces of Color Blend Cardstock using the Super Sunflower Plate
Emboss 3 pieces of Neenah 110lb Cardstock trimmed to 4 1/4" x 5 1/2", using each of the 3 embossing folders: Gradient Dot, Vines, Margot Tile
Match and adhere the Super Sunflower die-cut to the embossed cardstock using a wet glue, like Bearly Craft Glue
Adhere those layers to a Card Base
Stamp 3 of the large sentiments from the Plant Sentiments set and die-cut using a Nested Circle die
Attach Foam Squares to the sentiment die-cuts and adhere to the card front
Embellish each card with Perfect Day Sequins to finish, adhering with Craft Tacky Glue
The sheen of the Color Blend Cardstock makes the bright colors pop even more! Though the Gradient Dot folder is subtle, it still manages to stand out.
The yellow/orange blend may be one of my favorite.
The sequins add another little pop of shine!
