Simon Says Stamp - PAWSITIVELY SATURATED INK Storage Solution & Labels

Hello Lovelies! Something a bit different today. I can't believe I'm doing this! I'm abandoning my in-drawer storage solution for my Simon Says Stamp Pawsitively Saturated Ink Pads and Cubes!!!

Apart from my Tim Holtz Distress Inks, my Pawsitively Saturated Inks are the most regularly used inks in my craftroom. I'd like to make them even more accesible and organized than they currently are, so I'm trying out Stamp 'N Storage's Ink Pad Carousel for Slim 2-3/4"x4" Ink Pads + Cube. It holds 72 Ink Pads and 72 Cubes, so I was able to fit most of my Pawsitively Saturated Inks inside!

The Pads come with bright labels on one of the short sides of the base, but the Cubes don't and for a clutz like me, they are needed.

I have dropped a collection of cubes on the floor before, mixing up all the unlabelled bases, and had to pair them with their covers. Let's just say it was a long, miserable afternoon...

For this reason, I created a label sheet with the current list of Pawsitively Saturated Ink names. It is designed to be printed onto white 8 1/2" x 11" cardstock or sticker paper, cut into strips, inked from the matching color pad and then adhered to the cube base.

So the labels serve a couple of purposes:

• Easily pairing ink cube bases to covers

• showing a good representation of the ink color

• helps organize/identify the cubes in the carousel

• looks cute!

Time for Key Supplies!

For convenience, I printed on Avery Self-Adhesive Removable Laser Id Labels, White, 8.5 x 11 inches, 25 per Pack (6465) . However, I also tried printing on 80lb Cardstock and adhering with a tape runner and that worked well also!
