Hello Lovelies! Clean and simple called and here I am with a sweet turquoise card from my alcohol ink rejects, made fancy with the new Modern Postage Die and a pretty foiled greeting.
Some things are trendy but the Elegantly Modern Greetings Set is definitely a keeper for my craft projects, you can stamp or foil it and then die-cut it if you choose!
I could have made a completely new alcohol ink panel for this card front, but I went into my background stash to see what I had and found this scrap from a while back that seemed perfect for today's project!
Sometimes when you try something, it does not come out as you expect and may be not right for your current vision, but don't give up on it immediately, you never know, when it will find its right place. Now let's take a look at today's key supplies.

HELLO, I MISS YOU CARD - Foiling and Die-cutting
Card Base: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2
COLOR PALETTE
Today's color combo is mostly monochromatic and driven by the alcohol inks - Mermaid, Laguna and Aqua.
PICTORIAL GUIDE
NOTE: The Elegantly Modern Greetings Set comes with 4 greetings, I decided to do all at once to create extras for other cards and also do a set of gold ones, which always come in handy!
FOILING
DIE-CUTTING and EMBELLISHING
Die-cut the Alcohol ink background using the Modern Postage Die, add foam strips to the back for dimension and then layer it on a piece of white cardstock die-cut with the Detail Ringlet Plate for texture.
Die-cut the the sentiments and select the one that works for you. I went with "Hello"
Trim the preferred sentiment strip and attach foam dots to the back
Adhere the sentiments
Adhere the sequins with Craft Tacky Glue, placing them with the embellishment wand.
NOTE: The alcohol ink background was made by mopping up the residue of the 3 colors from a craft mat by swiping the Alcohol Ink cardstock through it until covered. The cardstock was twisted and turned a few times to create that mottled pattern.
Alcohol Ink is such a surprising medium for me, you are never quite sure how it's going to work out.
The foil, sequins and die-cuts, turn up the fancy on this card.
Sweet, Simple and all done!
Lovelies, I hope that you will go digging through your scraps to see what treasures are hidden away and make a pretty card for someone special!
Happy Crafting!
