Simon Says Stamp - Bunny Egg-Shaped Card

Hello Lovelies! I can't believe that I don't make more shaped cards! They are SOOO easy and the Bunny Egg Die Set gave me the perfect opportunity to make one AND be punny!

The dies are available with a matching stencil set which I also used for this project to help me with the inking of my little scene.

Here's a closer look at today's key supplies:

Large pic so you can see better!

STENCILING THE BUNNY

*TIP - Use the inlaid bunny shapes (ears and face) to mask off sections that you are not inking

MAKING THE SHAPED CARD BASE

INK-BLENDING THE BUNNY EGG OUTLINE

Tip: Place the delicate outline die-cut on a sticky mat to hold it in place while you ink it. I am using my foam blenders instead of my brushes as I am inking on an adhesive surface and I don't want to get the glue on my brushes but the foam tops are disposable.

CREATING THE SENTIMENTS

TIP: Use washi or painter's tape to mask off the "special" part of the You're egg-stra special" sentiment for the sentiment that will be on the card front. Repeat this approach to mask the "You're" when stamping the inside of the card.

EMBELLISHING THE CARD

This was just fun...and hopefully it's FUNNY!

In this card especially, the inside is as important as the outside!

Lovelies, one of the things I like most about this set is that the die and stencil set together are $19.99! 'Nuff said!

Thank you for stopping by and see you soon!
