Simon Say Stamp - Birthday Background Cards Trio

Hello Lovelies! Do you ever have enough Birthday Cards in your stash? I love when you can get a "two-fer" card out of one diecut, but here we will use the Balloon Background Die from Simon Says Stamp's Good Luck Charm Release for a card trio!
We will take one sheet of A2 Holographic Rainbow Cardstock and do some paper-piecing with the Balloon Background to make our cards!

Simon Says Stamp has this paper in both A2 (4 1/4" x 5 1/2") and Letter (8 1/2" x 11") and I especially like the A2 size as you can get the entire rainbow of color in a format perfect for the A2 cards that I make most often. In addition to paper and die-cuts, let's review the key supplies for this card.
Card Essentials:
Click here to view the full supply list or check out the one linked in the gallery at the bottom of this post when you have finished exploring this card.
BTW, did you notice the Simon has the cutest paw-print Triangle Trays for keeping your little bits together on your work surface and helping you get them back into their containers!

Time to bring on the balloons!!!

Featuring:
Simon Says Stamp Balloon Background Die
Simon Says Stamp A2 Holographic Rainbows Cardstock
Simon Says Stamp CZ Design Sentiment Strips - Sassy Birthday
Simon Says Stamp Detail Tapestry Plate Die
Simon Says Stamp End of the Rainbow Sequins

Die-cut the Holographic Rainbow cardstock using the Ballon Background Die , setting aside ALL the negative pieces for use in the other cards.

Die-cut white cardstock with the Detail Tapestry Die and trim to 4" x 5 1/4" and adhere to an A2-sized card base.

Adhere holographic diecut to Detail Tapestry layer with Bearly Craft Glue.

Select your favorite rainbow of dye ink pads and color the selected white sentiment strips by applying inks with a Blender Brush. Apply foam tape to the Strips.

The Wendy Vecchi Make Art Stay-tion helps me keep the card still when applying and aligning the Sentiment Strips.

Place some End of the Rainbow Sequins in a Triangle Tray to easily select them for adhering to the card.
With a rainbow of color on the front of this card, using only clear sequins gives a bit of sparkle without adding clutter!

Holographic rainbow cardstock for the win!

Now your only question should be who to give all this sassiness to?
