Hello Lovelies! Tim Holtz and Sizzix's new super-sized Texture Fades Embossing Folders expand the possibilities and size of what you can create. I decided to go with a little craft room encouragment in the shape of a framed decor piece adorned with Time Holtz die-cuts and a metal plaque.
The plaque reads, "Live a story worth telling" and is perfect when paired with our handmade "Do What You Love" sentiment! Crafting is part of my story and this is just a visual expression of how happy it makes me.

DO WHAT YOU LOVE FRAMED DECOR - Double Embossing, Coloring with Distress Oxide
Frame Size: 6" x 9"

COLOR PALETTE
Tim Holtz | Ranger Distress Paint and Oxide Pads - Hickory Smoke, Lost Shadow, Picket Fence and Salvaged Patina
PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS
Trim Distress Watercolor Cardstock to 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and emboss with the Lumber 3D Texture Fades Embossing Folder.
Rub gently but thoroughly with a Lost Shadow Distress Oxide Ink Pad to highlight the raised parts of the embossed cardstock and let dry.
Emboss the "lumber" cardstock again with the Entangled 3D Texture Fades Embossing Folder.
Rub gently but thoroughly with a Lost Shadow Distress Oxide Ink Pad to highlight the raised parts of the entangled pattern on the double-embossed cardstock and let dry.
Rub a Saltwater Taffy Distress Ink Pad over white cardstock to color it and die-cut with selected letters from Alphanumeric Classic Set.
Rub a Barn Door Distress Ink Pad over white cardstock to color it and die-cut with the heart from the Vault Matchbox Set and then emboss with the Foundry Folder. Die-cut the layers of the pointing hand from the same set using black and white cardstock.
Distress the plaque with smears of Salvaged Patina Distress Paint.
Optional: As my 6 x 9 frame (found this in a discount store) was a more uniform grey color, I painted it twice with Picket Fence Distress Paint and then dry-brushed and splattered with a little Hickory Smoke Distress Paint.
The embossed cardstock is backed chipboard of the same size for stability and durability.
