Simon Says Stamp - WELCOME LITTLE ONE Baby Cards

Hello Lovelies! Are you welcoming any new babies into your family or celebrating new additions with friends? I made a pair of sweet cards to celebrate our littlest friends using the Welcome Little One Stamp and Die Sets from Simon Says Stamp's Moments In Time release.

I colored the tiny tots and their toys mostly in Alcohol marker in pastel tones for a soft, gentle palette that I think complements these adorable illustrations well. Clearly I've also made a favorite of the Swiss Dots Stamp Set which we will also use for some backgrounds here.

WELCOME LITTLE ONE BABY CARDS - Alcohol Marker Coloring, Ink-Blended Accents and Stamped/Embossed Backgrounds

Pawsitively Saturated Ink Pads: Zest, Tidepool and Marine

PREPARING THE DIE-CUTS

Stamp all the images from the Welcome Little One Stamp Set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto white cardstock.
Color with the selected markers.
Die-cut with the coordinating Welcome Little One Die Set.

PREPARING THE BACKGROUNDS

Using the More A2 rectangles die set, die-cut the backgrounds for each card:
1. 3" x 4 1/4" - for the yellow card using white cardstock
2. ~1 1/2" x ~2 1/2" - for the green card, using green, blue and yellow cardstock
Stamp the large white rectangle with the Swiss Dots background and ink-blend the edges with the same color; adhere to a yellow card base
Stamp green, blue and yellow with coordinating inks and the Swiss Dots background and then stamp the sentiments in Simon Says Stamp Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink.
Emboss 4" x 5 1/4" cardstock with the Hopping Hexagons embossing folder and adhere to a green card base.
Use foam dots and craft glue to adhere the die-cut layers and tiny tots.

A few details:
