When I want to watercolor but am feeling lazy about it, I go to my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. A mouthful of a name but a very forgiving set of markers that allow you to blend without using alcohol inks. I could have made this look more painterly by also using a water brush, but did I mention that I was being lazy???

Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers: Pink, Peach Pink, Orange, Bright Yellow, Yellow, Pale Yellow, Yellow Green, Light Green, May Green, Dark Oatmeal
QUICK! CARD WALKTHROUGH
COLORING
Start by putting down a base color of pale yellow for the blooms and yellow green for the leaves
Add orange to the blooms, and may green to the leaves to create subtle shadows and depth
Highlight areas in the blooms with the pinks and blend out with bright yellow and yellow
Blend out the may green with light green
Add little spots and dashes of oatmeal to center of the petals randomly
Grab your foam adhesive supplies now as you will need them for the next few steps!
