Simon Says Stamp - Let's Chill Release Blog Hop, Day 1

Hi Lovelies!
Welcome in for Day 1 of Simon Says Stamp's Let's Chill Release Blog Hop! For some reason this release is super special to me. I love purple and violet and have been waiting for these colors to join the Pawsitively Saturated Ink rainbow.
I did a little bit of everything on this card, foiling, stamping, embossing, die-cutting and of course ink-blending and spraying!

Let's review the key supplies for today's card and as usual, the full supply list is linked for your convenience here and in the Supply Gallery at the end of this post.
When you shop for the items you want, remember to use the PRISM code when you check out to snag the Doodlebug Design Chasing Rainbows Sprinkles pack FREE with ANY purchase! This promotion will expire on 6/19 at 11:59 pm EDT or while supplies last.

The combination of the ink-blending and embossing is a winner in my eyes, the 3D Embossing Folders are simply magical and only get better when a die-cut element!
This card has quite a few steps, so let's get to it!
Foiling

Press the black Power Button at the back of the machine so that it can begin warming up.

Cut silver foil larger than Delightful Dragonflies Foil Plate. and adhere the foil to the 110lb white cardstock with Pixie Tape or some washi tape.

When the Platform Ready button goes green, place the foil plate, design (pretty) side up on the heated surface of the machine and press the Timer button.

Once the Timer button stops flashing green, place foil, gold side down on the plate and add 110lb white cardstock.

Cover with the thin shim (green) and the clear plate on top in that order.

Carefully remove this "sandwich", including the heated base and run through your die-cutting machine. I used a Sizzix Foldaway.

Remove the foil and cardstock carefully from the plate and heated base.
Gently peel back the foil to reveal the foil-pressed design and diecut using the Dragonflies outline die.
Embossing

Place white 110lb cardstock inside the Alstroemerias Embossing Folder and run through the die-cutting machine to emboss.
Anti-tip: I would not recommend using tape to secure the cardstock inside the folder as I did here. when I went to ink-blend the adhesive left residue the showed up when I applied the ink!!! if you do you do use a Pixie Tape/washi, apply it to the back side of the paper.

Look at all that detail!

Die-cut the Alstroemeria outline out of white cardstock 3 times.

Adhere one of the Alstroemeria outline diecuts to the Embossing Folder to hold in place over the matching section of the embossing folder. If you like, secure on the reverse instead of on the top side as I mistakenly did here. :-(

Beautiful details once embossed!

Before I stared adding ink, I laid out some of the elements to see how items might be placed
