Simon Says Stamp - Ink-Blending an Ombre for a DAINTY FLORAL VINE Friendship Card

Hello Lovelies! I have a feeling that the Dainty Floral Vine Die is going to one of my favorites! It's simple, but easily stands out and those blossoms are so delicate and pretty and are perfect for ink-blending an ombre floral piece. I didn't realize it when I first saw it but as I kept reaching for the Swiss Dots Stamp Set, also from the Moments In Time release, I knew that this was going to be a staple in my craftroom.

I wanted a soft blend of pastels to complement our delicate vine and the color combo from Simon Says Stamp's Pawsitively Saturated Ink Line did NOT disappoint in creating a delightful and somewhat unusual ombre.

SENDING LOVE AND HUGS CARD - Stamping, Ink-Blending An Ombre, Die-cutting,

Card Size: 4 1/2" x 6 1/4"

A soft and sweet card for one of your favorite people.

COLOR PALETTE

Pawsitively Saturated Ink Pads: Peachy, Cabbage, Morning

 DIE-CUTTING & INK-BLENDING AN OMBRE

1. Use a Large or Small Simon Blending Brushes to ink a piece of 4 1/2" x 4 1/2" white cardstock with the selected colors. Start with Simon Peachy and then layer on Cabbage and finish with Morning. Repeat to create a second ombre panel.

2. Die-cut the ombre panels with the Dainty Vine die.

3. Die-cut white cardstock with the blossoms from the Dainty Vine die set.

4. Use a Round Detail Brush to add Peachy ink to the center of each flower.

STAMPING, ADDING A SENTIMENT & EMBELLISHMENT

1. Ink a strip of white cardstock with Peachy Ink.

2. Stamp the sentiment onto the inked cardstock and die-cut.

3. Stamp a 4 1/4" x 6" panel with the Swiss Dots Background Stamp in Morning Ink.

4. Assemble your card as shown in the finished pictures by adhering the die-cuts, sentiment and Simon Peachy Gem embellishment.
