Hello Lovelies! Sometimes you need an extra fab Thank You Card so I'm here to help with some of my favorite new friends from the Simon Says Stamp Happy Camper release! I'm thoroughly enjoying the new embossing folders and today we'll create a Shaker Card with the Demilune folder.

First, we will need to get some ink-blending in a gorgeous selection of summer sorbet colors. Can you tell that I've been plundering my Color Cubes for some help with my palette for this card?

DEMILUNE THANK YOU SHAKER CARD - Dry Embossing, Ink-Blending, Die-cutting and Shaker Window

Card Size: 4 1/2" x 5 3/4"

COLOR PALETTE

Simon Says Stamp Pawsitively Saturated Ink Pads : Carnation, Sherbet, Honey and Gingerbread

CARD HIGHLIGHTS

I got a lot of help again with my color palette using Sarah Renee Clark's Color Cubes
Dye ink dries quikly so ink your blending brush generously and blend while still damp
I didn't do it here, but if you wish to avoid flattening the embossed design when die-cutting the shaker window using the "Thank You" outline. Make the window before you emboss and ink-blend!

Adhere a 3 3/4" x 5" Simon Says Stamp Acetate panel to the embossed layer using double-sided tape.
Adhere the silver glitter thank you die-cut to the front of the acetate window, flip over to the back sideand surround the window with foam tape strips
Place a puddle of the Starbright embellishments in the center of a folded Card Base and carefully adhere with shaker window over it.
Use the Blossom Burst Embossing folder to emboss the floral pattern onto a vellum Confetti Butterfly die-cut.

UP CLOSE AND CRAFTY

Sparkly "Thank You" text with rhinestones on a vibrant orange-pink background. Black strip reads "For All You Do." Elegant and appreciative. — I like the contrast between the "fancy" thank you and the more casual sentiment strip.

Last Look!

Colorful card with "thank you" in glitter and "FOR ALL YOU DO" text. Embossed pink and yellow background, decorative butterfly, floral theme. — Consider if you'd like a gold glitter die-cut better here, it may look even nicer with the warm yellow and brown tones in the embossing!
