Hello Lovelies! I am always amazed at the new crafty treats we get to explore each month with Simon Says Stamp and lately I've been focused on trying new tricks with these treats. See what I did there??? The Moments In Time release has several options to help us celebrate those special milestones, but today's card is just a sweet message for a friend.
The technique that I am working on for this project is coloring an embossing folder or more specifically the embossed cardstock with alcohol markers. To be honest, I found it a lot easier than expected and very relaxing. My "trick" for this is to try not to go right to the edge of the design that you are coloring, but to stop just short of it and let the ink work its magic. Also, as a beginner, I felt more confident with lighter marker colors, which are more forgiving.
