Hello Lovelies! Here's the second installment of my adventures with pastel (chalk) pencils using floral embossing folders in Simon Says Stamp's Happy Camper release. Today's card focuses on the Blossom Bursts Embossing Folder.
The color palette is muted with just a few pops of yellow on a Kraft cardstock backround. A simple die-cut sentiment, sends an encouraging message to whoever is inspiring your crating here.

CARD TIPS
The opacity of the pencils allow you to color on top of a colored cardstock like the Kraft cardstock used here and have the colors stand out.
Pastel (chalk) pencils need a fixative sprayed over them to hold the pastel pigment in place on the cardstock.
Where possible, work on a easel or book stand allowing the pastel dust to fall downwards to the craft table and not "dirty" your embossed design.
