Make Your SWEET FRIENDSHIP Gift Tags Extra Special with 3 Simple Tips

Yellow background with two colorful gift tags featuring cute animal illustrations, friendship quotes, and floral patterns. Text: Simon Says Stamp release.

Hello Lovelies! Today I'm sharing my first Spring 2026 crafting project using the Sweet Friendship Stamps and Dies, and it's a pair of cute and colorful nature-themed tags perfect for adorning gifts to friends or your special someone.

I used 3 easy tips to these tags from simple to special:

  1. Pump the Volume with an Embossed Background - Cedar Sprigs Embossing Folder create texture and dimension with an elegant foliage pattern

  2. Spotlight Ink-Blending to Create a Focal Point - Citrine and Field Pawsitively Saturated Inks, tones darker than the tag cardstock are applied in a circular pattern around the perimeter to create contrast and highlight tag texture and frame the cute critters

  3. Embellish with Mini Die-cuts to Add Character - Tiny Flowers die-cuts add to the Spring vibes and compliment our adorable animal

  4. Two colorful tags with cute animal illustrations. One yellow tag reads "There are friends in life..." and a green tag reads "Together is my favorite place to be."
These are sure to make any gift extra special!

SWEET FRIENDSHIP GIFT TAGS - Die-cutting, Embossing and Inking

Card Size: ~4 1/2" x 5 1/2"

Yellow and green tags with cute animal illustrations and friendship quotes. Colorful flowers and textures create a cheerful atmosphere.
My only regrets here are that I meant to add rhinestones, but the tags are sweet without them anyway!

COLOR PALETTE

  • Neenah Solar White 110lb Cardstock

  • Simon Says Stamp Lemon Chiffon Cardstock

  • Simon Says Stamp Green Leaf Cardstock

  • Simon Says Stamp Pawsitively Saturated Inks - Citrine and Field

CARD HIGHLIGHTS

  1. The Basics - Stamp and color the selected images from the Sweet Friendship set before die-cutting with the coordinating dies. Diecut the Lemon Chiffon and Green Leaf cardstock using Rounded Tags dies.

  2. Pump the Volume with an Embossed Background - Emboss the tags using the Cedar Sprigs Embossing Folder

  3. Spotlight Ink-Blending to Create a Focal Point - With a Large Blending Brush apply Citrine and Field Pawsitively Saturated Inks to the coordinating tags applied in a circular pattern around the perimeter

  4. Embellish with Mini Die-cuts to Add Character - Use your cardstock scraps to create your Tiny Flowers die-cuts, assemble with Craft Glue and pop up one of the red and a purple one with a Thin Foam Square

UP CLOSE AND CRAFTY

Three cute yellow chicks with pink cheeks sit on a log against a yellow background. Text reads "There are friends for life."
It's so bad that these cuties are making me think of the candy chicks!

Cute bunny and squirrel sit on a log with red flowers. Text: "TOGETHER IS MY FAVORITE PLACE TO BE." Green background with leaves.
Awww, I wish I could draw cute illustrations like these!

Yellow textured card with pink and purple flowers, quote "There are friends in life, and then there are friends for life," and colorful yarn.
These sentiments just give me all the FEELS!

I’ve been exploring different ways to build practical skills online, and coming across options like a Digital Marketing Course in Hyderabad made me think about how structured learning can help people stay updated in a fast-changing field. It’s interesting to see how such programs aim to provide a clearer understanding of concepts that might otherwise feel overwhelming when learned independently.
