Hello Lovelies! Are you doing enough with your large nesting dies? Today, we'll take advantage of the charming shape of the new Scalloped Framed dies from the In My Heart Release to create a the Sweetest Shaped Card for Mother's Day or whomever you are feeling grateful for! The Honeybell Floral will frame the interior of the arch and our graceful sentiment from CZ Design.

For me there are three simple tricks to a shaped card:

80lb Cardstock - heavy enough for a card base, light enough to allow a wafer die to cut through 2 layers
Simple Die - simple shapes without intricate patterns to ensure a clean cut
Overlapping the Crease - fold the cardstock in half and bring the cutting edge of the die over the edge of the crease by approximately 2mms.

MAKE THE SHAPED CARD BASE

See tips above.

Layer the Base above with a Seashell Scolled arch die-cut to the same size as the base and then add a Scalloped Arch Frame die-cut in white cardstock as shown.

INK THE FLOWERS

Use the Detailed Round and Flat Blending Brushes to ink the flower parts in the selected Distress Ink colors.

ASSEMBLE THE FLOWERS
