Simon Says Stamp - Tree Masks Card Trio

Hello Lovelies! I hope that you like straight-forward cards as much as I do! Today I am sharing a clean and simple trio using Simon Says Stamp's Tree Masks Stencil, a gold-dusted background pattern and a beautifully textured card base.

Make these in your preferred color schemes if this bright bunch is not your jam!

Though I am using Perfect Pearls to add a subtle shimmer to these cards, you can chose to emboss this pattern for a bolder look. Here's a closer look at the key supplies for these cards:

Today's GIF!

I promise you that our trees won't be quite so animated!

HOLIDAY STACK CARDS - Stenciling, Stamping with Perfect Pearls and Embossing,

Card Base: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"

CARD WALKTHROUGH

Lilac Card

  • Trim a piece of Neenah 110lb White Cardstock to 3 1/4" x 5 1/2"

  • Using the largest tree stencil, Pawsitively Saturated Orchid Ink and small blending brush, ink-blend the tree onto the white cardstock

  • Without removing the stencil, stamp the Many Presents Background in clear ink over the stenciled tree; this will protect the rest of the cardstock from the stamp

  • Using a paintbrush dust the tree with the Perfect Pearls Powder

  • Remove the stencil, stamp the sentiment in Intense Black over the tree

  • Emboss another piece of white cardstock (4 1/4" x 5 1/2") using the Holly Jolly Berries Embossing Folder

  • Ink-blend Orchid Ink all over the embossed cardstock using a large blending brush

  • Layer stenciled tree onto embossed background using foam tape and embellish with sequins

  • Adhere the layered card front to a card base

All done!
