Hello Lovelies! I love adding texture to my cards and stencils and paste are an easy way to get that wow! I tend to like to use sprays to then bring color to the card, but today I wanted a very controllable result for this Easter Card so I decided to ink-blend in sweet pastels from Simon Says Stamp's Pawsitively Saturated Ink line.
Both the stencil and the Bunny Trail Stamp and die set are from the Simon Says Stamp's Splendor Release, which is packed with all your early Spring treats!

CARD WALKTHROUGH
INK-BLENDING
Secure a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of white cardstock to your craft mat or Stamp and Stencil Mat.
Using a blending brush, apply and blend the three ink colors onto the cardstock starting with the lightest and continuing to the darkest (Butter, Bubblegum, Lilac).
STENCILING
Secure the Hippity Hoppity Stencil over the ink-blended cardstock
Use a palette knife to apply Distress Texture Paste Opaque through the openings in the stencil.
Remove stencil immediately and clean
STAMPING/COLORING
Stamp 2 sets of the rows of bunnies, 1 carrot and the Hoppy Easter sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black.
This is "less is more" coloring, the bunnies don't need much to make them cute here.
Use alcohol ink markers to color the bunnies, below are the Copic colors that I used:
Body - C0
Nose - YR68
Ears and Cheeks - R20
Carrot - YG01, YG05, G02, YR15, YR68
DIE-CUTTING & TRIMMING
Die-cut the bunnies and then trim the bunny on the left to separate them, so they can be popped-up and layered as shown on the card.
Trim the sentiment into a white strip.
Trim the dried background to 3 3/4" x 5".
Adhere the die-cuts onto the stenciled background with foam tape and craft glue.
The subtle texture over the ink-blended pastel background gives me all the Easter feels!
The little carrot adds a little extra love to the sentiment and card in general.
I wish I could add more bunnies to this card!
Hoppy Hoppy Easter!!!
