Simon Says Stamp - FEBRUARY 2025 Card Kit, DISTRESSED VINTAGE NOTES

Hello Lovelies! Hello Lovelies! I have a trio of cards for you today from Simon Says Stamp's February 2025 Card Kit - Distressed Vintage Notes. Almost everything in the kit has a nostalgic, romantic vibe, with several items from Tim Holtz's line; my cards are focused on the included Ephemera pack.

I really let the ephemera do all the work on the cards while accenting the backgrounds with wet and dry embossing as well of some of the included Tim Holtz Watercolor Pencils.

ADORE YOU VALENTINE'S CARD - Heat Embossing, Stamping, and Collaging

Base Layer: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"

CARD HIGHLIGHTS:

• Heat emboss images from the card kit onto the front of a black card base.

• Stamp the sentiment on white cardstock, fussy-cut and distress the edges with little Fawn ink

• Gather, arrange and using foam dots, adhere the selected ephemera as shown.

• Splatter with Picket Fence Distress Paint.

CARD HIGHLIGHTS:

• Scribble the pink and blue pencils onto a piece of 4" x 5 1/4" watercolor cardstock

• Mist with water until the colors run together. Muddle with your fingers to mix more as needed and dry with a heat tool.

• Stamp the music sheet and round stamp image as shown onto the watercolor layer.

• Stamp the sentiment on white cardstock, fussy-cut and distress the edges with little Fawn ink

• Gather, arrange and using foam dots, adhere the selected ephemera as shown.

• Distress the exposed straight edges of the ephemera with a the edge of your scissors.

• Splatter with Picket Fence Distress Paint.

CARD HIGHLIGHTS

• Emboss the front flap of a Schoolhouse Red Pre-scored Card; darken the edges with the Terracotta ink.

• Stamp the sentiment on white cardstock, fussy-cut and distress the edges with little Fawn ink

• Gather, arrange and using foam dots, adhere the selected ephemera as shown.

  • Adhere the playing card layer using Collage Medium Matte

• Distress the exposed straight edges of the rose ephemera with a the edge of your scissors.

• Splatter with Picket Fence Distress Paint.
